Chasing Dreams
My name is Girij Ambokar, and I am the co-founder of Carbnmall.
I am not writing this to sound inspirational.
I’m writing this because chasing dreams is rarely loud, glamorous, or clear.
Most of the time, it is silent, confusing, and uncomfortable.
The beginning was not perfect
Like many others, I started without clarity.
No perfect roadmap. No guarantees. Just a strong feeling that I did not want to live life on autopilot.
I saw people around me following the same pattern — study, work, earn, repeat — without ever questioning if it truly aligned with who they were. Somewhere deep inside, I knew I didn’t want to be just another face in the crowd.
Learning by doing
Chasing a dream doesn’t mean you always know what you’re doing.
It means you are willing to learn while doing.
There were days of doubt, slow progress, and moments where nothing seemed to move forward. But I kept showing up. Not because I was confident — but because stopping felt worse than continuing.
Work taught me discipline.
Failures taught me patience.
Consistency taught me self-belief.
Why Carbnmall exists
Carbnmall was not born from the idea of selling products.
It was born from a mindset — thinking before choosing.
In a world full of noise, shortcuts, and herd mentality, we wanted to build something calm, selective, and honest. Something that respects people who don’t choose blindly — in life or in decisions.
Dreams evolve, effort remains
Dreams don’t always look the same as when you first imagine them.
They evolve as you grow.
What doesn’t change is effort.
Showing up every day.
Doing the work even when nobody is watching.
Choosing responsibility over excuses.
Still chasing
I haven’t reached where I want to be yet.
And that’s okay.
Chasing dreams is not about reaching a finish line — it’s about refusing to settle for a life you didn’t consciously choose.
I’m still learning.
Still building.
Still chasing.
And I believe that’s where real growth begins.
